In Movie Theater or home, people watch movies or documentary.
Pain or sufferings on the news have same effect as in the movies. Is something there, on the screen that does not touch you really. You watch, and kiss your girlfriend, or ate popcorn or drink beer when the news show you the war in Iraq or Afghanistan or some disaster that is happen somewhere in the world. Is just entertainment or something to discuss about.
People are more affected if some basketball teams lose. Only the people that have extremely bad life experience have the ability of pain perception watching the news or movies. People live with them mind in a virtual reality. They don’t know what is real anymore. Like drugs.
Very intelligent but very unsuccessful with the girls, the Colorado killer is a guy that become victim of loneliness and dedicate his time to learning. The more he learn, the more affected social and spiritual he become. The ignorance and superficiality from the world surrounding made hem mad day by day. Without any possibility to control the world around or hem self, he rich obsessive level . He feels to do something. Something against those people with the brain at the level of kids cartoons. When he was kid, he was watching cartoons to. The world that grow up in age but not in smartness, make him furious. Those people do not understand nothing about love or fight. They was to movie theater looking for escape from the real world, from what the Government is doing to them life. The world and society go bad because those people are not smart enough to change in better…..or to understand what’s go in on. Is nothing new about, the intellectuals that are looking down at less intelligent people, but not all intellectuals are in to mass extermination. Some how the killer was at a psychological point of no return .

The fictional and suspicious personage is a guy that in a paranoid society come with the security.
Your security ? No ! Your security is damaged from the government, that can live you without freedom, house, money or job . In killer mind, the Batman is just a bad guy that is fighting not for justice. For Government justice, against the competition. That’s right, just like bad guy in Batman movies, the Government robbery and murders (is call target killing) put the Government in the position of bad guy. From what people see, the US Government becomes the World enemy. From the fictional cartoon, the killer take the message, as a pro Government propaganda and the Batman supporters as a childish and brainwashed that deserve to die .
Many people in US, like to speak out, bat the killer……
..…a delusional society, where some adults, watch movies for kids, and some…..become Jokers !.
For sure, if he was killing people in Afghanistan, from Government order, he was declared, an hero ! and you are educated to glorify those heroes !

I think I understand what C is saying about the Batman character and the guy who went on the shooting spree at the movie theater.
He was acting as a radical unhinged agent of balance. Unconventional, violent, focused to raise awareness of severe imbalance.
Tyranny by any other name is still tyranny. The basic definition of a tyrant: One who exercises power or authority in a cruel and unjust manner.
I don't think it matters whether the tyrant uses psychological, military, political or economic leverage, the effect of prolonged tyranny remains; an intolerable imbalance of power. The last thousand or so years were heavily influenced by the very alpha male vibration of
1 times a thousand. Power by force or domination, singularity, polarization. We are now getting adjusted to the very sensitive feminine vibe of the 2 times a thousand which encompasses an entirely different energy power, the union. Power by co-operation, sharing, simple organic power, the power of the cycle(s) . This is very different from male power. . It seeks balance and gets the help it needs to make it happen.
Sooner or later, the oppressed get a helping hand out of oppression, as in the biblical story of Moses leading the Hebrews out of the slavery imposed by the Egyptian system and head of state.
Sometimes this helping hand shows up in the form of a basic thought, as in the idea that I don't have to sit back and take this ( oppression) any more, an "ah- ha moment"' if you will.
The times are ripe and this helping hand is being extended in many forms, including the occupy movement, weather climate, economic and political shifts. There is a growing crack in the foundation of the structures that would imprison the souls of man.
The family farmer knows of the power of cycles. Women know something of the power of cycles.
