"Carrie Prejean, the dethroned Miss California 2009 who stirred up controversy by expressing her views against gay marriage, has dropped her lawsuit against the Miss California contest because of an "extremely graphic" sex tape, says a report at the celebrity gossip site TMZ.

"Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork," the Web site reported."

I guess the idea of gay marriage upset the Christian porn star's sensibilities?

I guess porn is okay with her as long as it is opposite porn.

From what I understand, the porn tape was a 'solo' job. She was the only 'star'.

          Onanism is a sin, too.

Oh I like that! What a great title for a pornographic movie.

                'Porn again Christian'.

Miss Blue-jeans couldn't get a million dollars by suing the beauty pageant, but I bet she'd get at least a million dollars if she released the video of herself and used that title.

            "Onanism is a sin, too."

there is no such thing as female onanism. Onanism implies spilling the male seed as in birth control or homosexuality.

Well, no seed gets spilled when a girl does it, so is that really a sin?

Apparently Justice Scalia would make masturbation a criminal matter. When the Supreme Court struck down "sodomy laws" in 2003 Scalia's dissent warned that if same sex relationships cannot be outlawed that laws against masturbation could also be struck down. As far as I know there are no laws restricting self pleasure in the U.S. (I can't imagine a law that I would scoff at more) but I suppose Scalia would be more comfortable under the Taliban.

More about the Carrie Prejean the porn star:

                      joemygod.blogspot.com/2009/11...ded.html

"We have more info on Carrie Prejean's abrupt about-face during the settlement negotiations with Miss California USA lawyers -- when they showed her the X-Rated version of Home Alone ... starring Carrie herself. When the video started playing, Carrie's first reaction was "that's disgusting" ... and Carrie denied it was her. Then, the camera angle changed ... and panned up to her face. She was caught red-handed ... so to speak. Carrie was rendered speechless and immediately began talking with her lawyer. We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million dollar demand."

Personally I don't see a difference between beauty pagents and pornography, both expoit womens sexuality and objectify them. It's an irony that one should object to the other.

I agree that beauty pageants and pornography are pretty much one in the same. Beauty pageants are considered to have a bit more of a 'wholesome' image at least in western society.

However I don't think that the beauty pageant objected to the pornographic film the contestant made, they just threatened to use it against the woman if she sued them on the grounds of religious discrimination. The implied message was that this woman could hardly argue convincingly in court that she was a woman of strict Christian moral principles if she willingly participated in pornographic films.

Unless like Mary Magdalene, she was previously a woman of loose moral standards that had a change of heart and was born again?

Still, she did not say "Oh, that was before I became a Christian!"
Instead, her reaction was "That's not me! Whoops! Okay I admit it is me, never mind then!"

What I don't understand is how the hell did it take her so long to recognize that it was herself in the video? If you're Miss California, and at some point in the past you've made a sex tape, and you threaten to sue the pageant for religious discrimination, and they bring you in and sit you down and start showing you a sex tape, isn't the first fucking thing that's going to go through your mind going to be, "Holy shit, I wonder if that's my sex tape!" And even if it's not the first thing on your mind, shouldn't it leap to mind within, say, the first second or two of the video? I mean she was obviously right fucking there (no pun intended) during the filming. You'd think that something would have rung a frigging bell before seeing her own face.

"State laws against bigamy, same-sex marriage, adult incest, prostitution, masturbation, adultery, fornication, bestiality, and obscenity are likewise sustainable only in light of Bowers’ validation of laws based on moral choices. Every single one of these laws is called into question by today’s decision..."

According to the Bible though, only men should get the death penalty for masturbation.

It's okay for women, even if they want to show themselves doing it in a movie.

I wonder how many Christians actually refrain from masturbating merely because of that book.

That would be none - they just feel really guitly about it because of their conditioning, and are thus even more open to being manipulated by the folks who tell them it's a bad thing to do in the first place, and more prone to moral posturing and holier-than-thou fingerpointing.

Y'know, just like a chick who secretly made porn attacking the sexual ethics of others. Makes ya wonder what some other of the loudest bigots are hiding, doesn't it?

If people are refraining from masturbating because of the bible then they really do have it wrong. The sin of Onan wasn't really about masturbation. His sin was greed and disobeying God. Onan spilled his seed on the ground rather than impregnate his dead brother's wife because he didn't want there to be an heir to his dead brother's estate.

I agree entirely, not only does this verse not speak against masterbation, but other verses suggest that sperm is not sacred, but rather unclean:

Lev 15:16 And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

Washing your self and considering yourself contaminated for a time is good advice, today we know that blood and sperm carry disease which die with sufficient contact to air.
