    I was surprised by a statistic I heard from the Ohio primary. Something like 20% of Democratic voters there thought that race was important in their vote, and 80% of those voted against Obama. So much for the idea that the Republican party is the only home for racists.

      Of course not, the GOP is just the party that openly sought the racist vote. There are plenty of people - especially working-class people outside the south - who harbor racial bias but are smart enough to realize that the GOP does not in any way support their economic interests and stick with the Demos.

    I beleve Obaaa Maaa does not have the Old white racist vote because they are too stupid to realize that it is not about race, but substance.

    Many insecure people are racist, and use race as a way to compensate for their inadequacies. Other people take advantage of this probability, and use the stupid people for their own gain.

    But I dunno about Obama. What worries me most is how much money he is raising
