Snapshot of History

My dad is an antique dealer. One of the Chistmas cards he found at an estate sale comes from the Middle East (Palestine?) in 1947(?).

It makes an interesting snapshot of a moment of history.

What can we learn from it? Well.... three things jump out at me.

1) The Arabs weren't at all happy with the partition.

2) The word "Palestinians" wasn't used at all. The people were only referred to as "Arabs".

3) They wanted Palestine to be a place for "Arabs". No mentions of multiculturalism there, eh? What was to become of the Jews?
