The plea bargain will most likely sentence Marc to a five-year prison term. In consideration of possible incarceration, Emery is “thinking of embarking on a Farewell Tour across Canada to speak to the people one last time.” The following is the proposed schedule:

Halifax, Nova Scotia - Feb. 21
Moncton, New Brunswick - Feb. 22
Quebec City - Feb. 23
Montreal - Feb. 25
Ottawa - Feb. 26
Toronto - Feb. 27

Winnipeg - March 3
Regina - March 4
Saskatoon - March 5
Calgary - March 6
Edmonton - March 7
Whitehorse - March 8
Kamloops - March 10
Victoria - March 12
Emery is also asking for help to raise funds for this tour. It’s estimated that the cost will be approximately $12,500. Once $3,000 is raised, the flights will be booked. The 16-city tour has one message, "Ending Prohibition in Our Time: My Crusade to Free The Cannabis Culture."

It’s difficult to explain what it means to witness our society condemn a human being for selling seeds to a plant. Maybe even having the need to explain such a horror, explains why we are at the tipping point, facing extinction due to our destruction of the environment. We, human beings, will never win a war against nature, and by waging it, we are destroying the ecosystem and condemning future generation to a miserable existence on a planet devoid of diverse life.
While we wait for Marc Emery’s future to be decided, we can enjoy and learn from the following documentaries, explaining in detail some of the benefits of Cannabis and the complete disaster known as the ‘War on Drugs’ (Please note that the first few minutes of the first movie are in Dutch, but the rest is in English).

Sat, January 26, 2008 - 4:04 PMIndeed it is, Brent. This is also objectional as a form of religious prosecution.
* Genesis 1:11 "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so."
* Genesis 3:18 "... thou shalt eat the herb of the field."
* Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith."
* Psalms 104:14 "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man."
The etymology of the word "cannabis" and similar terms in all the languages of the Near East may be traced to the Hebrew qaneh bosm קנה-בשם
This is one of the herbs God commands Moses to include in his preparation of sacred anointing perfume in Exodus 30:23; the Hebrew term also appears in Isaiah 43:24; Jeremiah 6:20; Ezekiel 27:19; and Song of Songs 4:14.

I will inform Brother Lasardo and Brother Tucker of the Church of the Universe, although I am sure they already know about this.

Such sad news. What little lap dogs and puppets the marionettes are in Ottawa. Especially the 'Fool on the Hill' Steven Harper himself. Time to take out the tory trash, it's been stinking up the place way too long!
