    I fear the government having the power to decide what constitutes acceptable points of view more than I fear the occasional asshole with his assholish perspective.

      Well, in Europe, you can go to jail for it. And now, Islamic states (and their anti-Western supporters) want to make blasphemy an international offense.

      Yup.

      THIS is why the presidency is so important. The President appoints the SCOTUS justices, and here - so far - this kind of speech has rightfully remained legal.
