19) UK type exchange with congress - there's an idea I could get behind
This was part of a story about McCain's vision on NPR today, which completely cracked me up as i was driving on the interstate.
Audio had McCain declaiming, "This mindless paralyzing rancor must come to an end." Fine rhetoric written by some proud speech writer. McCain, however, might be a little idealistic about the probably result of such an exchange before congress.
Following this remark was audio from a session of the UK Parliament where Gordon Brown makes an assertion in the House of Commons and then is ripped to shreds by a Liberal Democratic member and all pandemonium breaks loose.
McCain couldn't last three minutes in front of a crowd like that. . .
I am sure you would enjoy this lively exchange and it is probably on npr audio if you want to look for it. I think it was on evening edition. .
